Puppies are four weeks old today! The puppies have started potty training since three weeks old and at four weeks they pretty much have the hang of walking to the litter box to potty. Is there still a mess? Yes. There never won’t be a mess when a puppy is involved let alone ten little messy fluffers running about.
Feeding time is also changing at four weeks old. Teeth are starting to come in now. Puppy mash that they have been getting since three weeks can start getting a little thicker. Puppy kibble softened with warm water can also start being provided to the pups. Water will always be readily available as well always at a safe depth that the puppies cannot injure themselves in.
Stimulation is introduced more. Toys are a puppies best friend (besides me and mommy). New teeth=loving some chew toys. We give puppies noisy toys, soft toys, and chewing toys their entire stay with us. Always keep the puppies occupied and happy.
A tired puppy is a good puppy. Full bellies, stimulation, and a cozy place to nap is perfect for every puppy.
